Assi Final Box Office Collection: Taapsee Pannu and Anubhav Sinha’s Courtroom Drama Nears ₹10 Crore Finish in India

The courtroom drama Assi, directed by Anubhav Sinha and starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead role, is almost at the end of its theatrical journey at the Indian box office. Comparison With Thappad

This box office outcome is significantly lower than the previous collaboration between Taapsee Pannu and Anubhav Sinha, the critically acclaimed film Thappad, which performed much better commercially.

As a result, Assi is being considered a box office flop despite receiving appreciation from critics and a section of viewers.

Possibility of Digital Appreciation

Industry observers believe that films with strong social themes sometimes find a better audience on OTT platforms after their theatrical run. It remains to be seen whether Assi receives more appreciation when it eventually arrives on streaming platforms.
