Bhooth Bangla Box Office Collection Day 7: Nears ₹100 Crore Mark; Set To Clock Century In Week 2

Priyadarshan’s Bhooth Bangla, led by Akshay Kumar, has wrapped up its opening week on a solid note at the Indian box office. Despite facing competition from Dhurandhar 2, the horror-comedy has sustained steady momentum through the weekdays.

The film is now on the verge of entering the ₹100 crore club, emerging as one of the stronger performers of the year so far. With consistent footfalls and stable trends, it has secured a spot among the top opening weeks of 2026.

Day 7 Early Estimates Indicate Stable Hold

As per early trends, Bhooth Bangla has collected in the range of ₹5–6 crore on its seventh day. This reflects a marginal drop from Wednesday’s ₹6.80 crore, indicating a steady weekday hold rather than a sharp decline.

The overall net collection after seven days is estimated to be in the range of ₹94.85 crore to ₹95.85 crore. The film is now expected to cross the ₹100 crore milestone on Day 8, entering the second week on a significant high.

However, a reduction in show count is expected from Friday due to the release of Ginny Weds Sunny 2, which could slightly impact its screen share.

Week 1 Box Office Breakdown (India Net)

  • Paid Previews: ₹4 crore
  • Day 1: ₹14.31 crore
  • Day 2: ₹21.74 crore
  • Day 3: ₹25.60 crore
  • Day 4: ₹8.10 crore
  • Day 5: ₹9.30 crore
  • Day 6: ₹6.80 crore
  • Day 7: ₹5–6 crore (estimates)

Total: ₹94.85–95.85 crore

Third Highest Opening Week Of 2026

With this performance, Bhooth Bangla has surpassed O’Romeo to secure the third position among the highest Bollywood opening weeks of 2026.

It currently stands behind Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2, both of which have posted significantly higher numbers.

Box Office Projections

Given the current trend, Bhooth Bangla is expected to cross the ₹100 crore mark by Day 8. The second weekend will be crucial in determining its long-term trajectory, especially with new competition entering the market.

Considering its ₹120 crore budget, the film is on track to move towards recovery, but sustained weekend growth will be essential for it to emerge as a success. A strong second weekend could push its lifetime total towards the ₹140–160 crore range, depending on hold and competition.
