The war drama Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahaan Shetty, has completed 50 days in theatres and continues to maintain a respectable total at the global box office.

According to a report by Koimoi, the epic action war film has collected ₹484.81 crore worldwide gross after seven weeks of its theatrical run, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2026 so far.

After completing its 50th day in cinemas, the film’s box office run is now nearing its end in India. On Day 50 (eighth Friday), the film added only about ₹4 lakh, indicating that its theatrical journey is almost complete.

Budget and Profitability

As per trade reports cited by Koimoi, Border 2 was made on an estimated budget of ₹275 crore.

With a ₹362.34 crore net collection in India, the film has generated a return on investment (ROI) of ₹87.34 crore. This translates to an ROI of approximately 31.76%.

Based on these figures, the film has secured a “Plus” verdict at the Indian box office.

Among the Most Profitable Bollywood Films of 2026

While Border 2 has performed strongly, it currently ranks as the second-most profitable Bollywood film of 2026.

The top position is held by The Kerala Story 2, which reportedly delivered an even higher return percentage.

About the Film

Border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta under the banners T-Series Films and JP Films.

The film also features Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana, and Anya Singh in key roles.

Released in theatres on January 23, the film was distributed by Anil Thadani’s company AA Films.
