On the occasion of Eid, Dhurandhar 2 registered a massive ₹113 crore collection in a single day. This remarkable number came on Day 3 of its release, making it one of the biggest single-day performances in Bollywood history.
For years, Eid releases have been dominated by Salman Khan, with blockbuster hits releasing consistently during the festive period. However, Dhurandhar 2 has changed the narrative with an extraordinary box office surge.
Dhurandhar 2 has now recorded the highest Eid day collection in Bollywood history. Previously, Salman Khan’s Bharat (2019) held the record with ₹42.30 crore on Eid.
Ranveer Singh’s film has surpassed that figure by a huge margin, earning nearly 2.7 times more. This massive jump reflects the scale and craze surrounding the film.
In a surprising turn of events, Dhurandhar 2’s single-day Eid collection has outperformed the combined Eid collections of Salman Khan’s recent releases.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023) earned ₹25.75 crore on Eid, while Sikandar (2025) collected ₹33.36 crore. Together, these films managed ₹59.11 crore, which is still far below Dhurandhar 2’s ₹113 crore single-day total.
For many years, the list of top Eid box office collections was dominated entirely by Salman Khan’s films. Dhurandhar 2 has now broken that monopoly by claiming the number one position.
While Salman Khan still holds multiple spots in the top rankings, Ranveer Singh has taken the top position, signaling a major shift in Bollywood’s festive box office landscape.
With Dhurandhar 2’s historic success, Ranveer Singh has firmly established himself as the new face of Eid blockbusters. The film’s record-breaking performance indicates a shift in audience preferences and signals the arrival of a new era at the box office.
