Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking: Ranveer Singh Film Beats Border 2 With Record Pre-Sales of 2026

The box office momentum for Dhurandhar 2 is getting stronger with each passing day. The Ranveer Singh starrer is currently dominating the advance booking charts, registering a phenomenal response ahead of its theatrical release. After receiving a historic response to its paid previews, the film’s day 1 advance booking has now crossed a major milestone.

Backed by impressive ticket sales across major national cinema chains such as PVR INOX and Cinepolis, the film has already achieved the biggest day 1 pre-sales for a Bollywood movie in 2026. In the process, it has comfortably surpassed Border 2, the upcoming film starring Sunny Deol.

Show Count Crosses 13,000 Nationwide

The scale of the film’s release is rapidly expanding across India. Just a day earlier, the show count for Dhurandhar 2 stood at around 11,200. As expected, exhibitors have increased the number of screenings across the country.

Currently, the show count has reached nearly 13,400 shows, and with three more days remaining before release, the number is expected to cross 15,000 shows nationwide. However, exhibitors are also facing a challenge due to the film’s nearly four-hour runtime, which limits the number of screenings that can be scheduled per day.

Sells Over 3 Lakh Tickets for Opening Day

According to early morning data at around 7 AM IST, Dhurandhar 2 has already sold over 3.12 lakh tickets for its opening day across India.

The Hindi version accounts for the majority of the bookings, selling approximately 2.9 lakh tickets. The Telugu dubbed version follows with about 14,000 tickets, while the Tamil version has sold around 7,800 tickets. The Malayalam version has sold about 225 tickets, and the Kannada version has recorded 22 tickets so far.

Highest Bollywood Day 1 Pre-Sales of 2026

In terms of revenue, Dhurandhar 2 has collected an impressive ₹14.62 crore gross through advance bookings for its opening day at the Indian box office. With three days still left before release, the film is expected to push its advance booking total close to the ₹30 crore mark.

With this achievement, the film has overtaken Border 2, which had earlier recorded ₹12.5 crore in day 1 advance ticket sales, making Dhurandhar 2 the highest day 1 pre-sales Bollywood film of 2026 so far.

Interestingly, among all Indian films released in 2026, the current record for the biggest day 1 advance booking is held by The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, which had sold tickets worth ₹15.31 crore gross.

However, with the rapid pace of bookings, industry watchers believe that Dhurandhar 2 may soon surpass that record as well, signaling what could be a massive box office storm when the film finally hits theatres.
