Bhooth Bangla - Akshay Kumar, Wamiqa Gabbi
After enjoying a blockbuster Tuesday boost, Bhooth Bangla is now settling into its regular weekday trend—but make no mistake, the momentum is still very much alive. The horror-comedy, led by Akshay Kumar, has managed to hold strong after its opening weekend, showing far better consistency than many recent releases.
With the discounted ticket frenzy now over, all eyes are on how the film performs on its first Wednesday—and the early signs are quite encouraging.
As per the latest trends, Bhooth Bangla has sold a solid 1.3 lakh tickets in advance booking for Day 6. The film has already grossed Rs. 2.74 crore (Rs. 2.33 crore net) before the first show even began.
This comes after Tuesday’s boosted numbers, where discounted pricing drove footfalls significantly. Naturally, with ticket prices jumping back from Rs. 165 to Rs. 200, a drop was always on the cards.
Interestingly, the film continues to enjoy a massive screen presence with around 12,370 shows nationwide. While this is slightly lower than Tuesday’s 12,400+ shows, the difference is negligible and indicates sustained exhibitor confidence.
Such a high show count during weekdays is a strong signal that the film is performing well across circuits.
Based on pre-sales and expected spot bookings, Bhooth Bangla is targeting Rs. 7–7.1 crore net on Day 6. This would mark a drop of around 12–13% compared to Monday’s 8.1 crore, which is absolutely normal for a weekday trend.
Even with an 18.24% drop in advance booking numbers compared to Tuesday, the film is holding its ground impressively.
The steady weekday trend clearly suggests that the film has found acceptance among audiences. With no major competition—especially as Dhurandhar 2 slows down—the runway looks clear for Bhooth Bangla to continue its box office journey without major hurdles.
If this pace continues, the film is well on track to emerge as a clean success in the coming days.
Bhooth Bangla might have seen a post-discount dip, but the bigger picture remains strong. With solid advance booking, stable show count, and healthy weekday numbers, the film is proving to be a consistent performer.
The real test now lies in sustaining this trend till the second weekend—but for now, Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy is clearly playing the long game at the box office.
