Love Insurance Kompany Box Office Collection Day 12: Pradeep Ranganathan’s Film Stays Flat Yet Hits 40 Crore, But Is A Flop Verdict Inevitable With Just 45–48 Crore Finish?

After a solid opening weekend that hinted at another success story, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is now struggling to keep its momentum alive at the box office. The film, which generated decent buzz initially, has now slowed down drastically as it enters the second week.

Led by Pradeep Ranganathan, the sci-fi romantic comedy is witnessing flat trends, raising serious concerns about its long-term box office fate. With collections stabilizing at lower levels, the big question remains—can it pull off a late surge?

Love Insurance Kompany Box Office Day 12: Adds 50 Lakhs, Touches 40 Crore

Directed by Vignesh Sivan, Love Insurance Kompany added Rs. 50 lakh on its second Tuesday, the same as the previous day. With this, the total India gross now stands at Rs. 40 crore.

While crossing the 40 crore mark is a milestone, the pace at which the film has reached here reflects a clear slowdown. The second week is expected to close around Rs. 41 crore, indicating limited growth ahead.

Lowest Grosser & First Flop For Pradeep Ranganathan?

Despite featuring a strong supporting cast including Krithi Shetty, SJ Suryah, Gouri G Kishan, and Yogi Babu, the film hasn’t managed to sustain audience interest.

Going by current trends, LIK is heading towards a lifetime collection of Rs. 45–48 crore, which would make it Pradeep Ranganathan’s lowest grosser and also his first flop at the box office.

A stronger word-of-mouth could have significantly altered its trajectory, especially given its unique sci-fi premise set in 2040. But the lack of consistent growth has already put it in a difficult spot.

Day-Wise Box Office Breakdown

Day 1: Rs. 7.75 crore
Day 2: Rs. 9.50 crore
Day 3: Rs. 8.00 crore
Day 4: Rs. 3.00 crore
Day 5: Rs. 3.75 crore
Day 6: Rs. 1.50 crore
Day 7: Rs. 1.25 crore
Day 8: Rs. 1.00 crore
Day 9: Rs. 1.60 crore
Day 10: Rs. 1.65 crore
Day 11: Rs. 0.50 crore
Day 12: Rs. 0.50 crore (est.)

Total: Rs. 40.00 crore

Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) had the potential to ride high on its concept and initial buzz, but the flat weekday trends have derailed its journey. With the third weekend being the final hope, the film needs a significant jump to avoid ending its run on a disappointing note.

As things stand, the box office verdict seems almost sealed—unless a miracle turnaround comes into play.
