Streaming giant Amazon Prime Video has reportedly acquired the post-theatrical rights across all major languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. This development clearly signals the immense confidence the digital market has in the film’s potential.
What makes this deal even more remarkable is the comparison with other big-ticket films. With ₹160 crore, Jailer 2 has comfortably surpassed Coolie, which secured ₹120 crore, registering a 33.33% higher deal value.

Jailer 2 now sits at the top with ₹160 crore, followed by Coolie and Leo at ₹120 crore each. Films like Jana Nayagan, The Greatest Of All Time, and Thug Life (renegotiated) are placed at ₹110 crore.
