Dacoit: A Love Story, featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, recorded a slight uptick in collections on Day 9, though the overall box office trend remains on the slower side after a strong opening weekend.
On its ninth day, the film collected approximately ₹1.15 crore net in India, marking a 28% increase compared to Day 8, which stood at ₹0.90 crore. With this, the film’s total domestic net collection has reached ₹30.50 crore, while the India gross stands at around ₹35.49 crore.
From the international markets, the film has contributed an estimated ₹12.80 crore, taking the worldwide total to ₹48.29 crore, and inching closer to the ₹50 crore milestone.

The film opened well, collecting nearly ₹20 crore over its first weekend, indicating strong initial audience interest. However, a noticeable drop was seen from Monday onwards, with weekday collections declining steadily.
While Day 9 has shown some recovery, the growth remains limited, suggesting that the film is currently relying on incremental gains rather than a strong resurgence. Additionally, competition from new releases like Bhoot Bangla appears to have impacted its box office momentum.
Directed by Shaneil Deo, Dacoit: A Love Story explores an emotional narrative centered around a mysterious woman and a former convict, blending elements of romance, action, and survival.
Apart from Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the film also stars Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni, and Sunil in key roles.
With the second weekend underway, Dacoit: A Love Story will be aiming for steadier growth to cross the ₹50 crore mark globally. However, its long-term performance will depend on how well it sustains momentum in the coming weekdays.
