Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 31: Ranveer Singh’s ₹1300+ Cr Juggernaut SLOWS Down As Akshay Kumar’s Bhoot Bangla Steals The Spotlight!

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, is witnessing a noticeable slowdown at the box office on Day 31. While the film continues its dream run past the ₹1300 crore mark in India gross, the arrival of Akshay Kumar’s Bhoot Bangla has clearly started eating into its collections.

Despite being in its fifth week, the spy thriller is still managing to pull in numbers, but the pace has visibly dropped compared to its earlier dominance.

As per the latest figures, Dhurandhar 2 minted around ₹4.65 crore on Day 31. This marks a jump from Friday’s ₹2.70 crore, which is expected given the Saturday boost, but the growth isn’t as explosive as the film had shown in its previous weeks. The film’s total now stands at a massive ₹1110.47 crore net, while the India gross has surged to ₹1328.46 crore.

What’s significant here is not just the numbers, but the trend shift. For a film that was virtually unstoppable for four weeks straight, this gradual slowdown signals the impact of fresh competition at the ticket windows.

And the biggest disruptor right now is Bhoot Bangla. The horror-comedy, led by Akshay Kumar and Tabu, has entered theatres with strong momentum, clocking over ₹15 crore on its Day 2. This surge has directly affected Dhurandhar 2’s screen count and footfalls, especially in urban circuits.

Still, the achievements of Dhurandhar 2 remain nothing short of phenomenal. The film has comfortably surpassed the lifetime India collections of blockbusters like RRR, Kalki 2898 AD, KGF: Chapter 2, Jawan, Pathaan, Stree 2, and Animal. It also scripted history earlier this month by becoming the first Bollywood film ever to cross ₹1000 crore net in India, setting a benchmark that will be hard to challenge anytime soon.

The film, which opened with paid premieres on March 18 before its full-fledged release on March 19, follows the intense journey of an Indian spy navigating Pakistan’s criminal underworld. Ranveer Singh portrays a complex character rising through Lyari’s power structure while attempting to dismantle a terror network threatening India. The sequel further deepens his arc as Hamza Ali Mazari, blending espionage with high-stakes action and political backdrops.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film also features Arjun Rampal in a pivotal confrontation, alongside Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor, and Rakesh Bedi.

Even with the current slowdown, Dhurandhar 2 remains a box office beast. However, with competition heating up and collections stabilizing, the coming days will decide how far this juggernaut can stretch its already historic run.
